I know first hand and professionally how beneficial therapy can be in helping uncover root causes of unwanted feelings and actions, as well as building helpful and practical coping skills that can be life changing in managing challenges and the stress and pressure of motherhood. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Masters Degree in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. I have over 8 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families in a clinical setting. After completing my 3,000 clinical hours and state licensing exam I became licensed in 2017. Since then I have worked with several different client populations and have found my absolute passion working with the perinatal population (including pregnancy, postpartum and early parenthood.) In my free time I enjoy visiting different coffee shops, brunch places, and spending time with my friends, partner and children.
I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Person Centered Therapy to ensure each session is meaningful, helpful and supportive. I encourage you to reach out to me when you are ready to create meaningful changes in your life. I also understand that investing in yourself will also have a positive impact on those closest to you, including family, friends and coworkers. Congratulations on taking the first step, and welcome!
